Infrared KGTaking photos using an infrared filter, or camera brings some very interesting results.  It's hard to explain - you have to see it for yourself.  It's not really a negative image, but there are elements in the resulting photo that allude to the negative effect.  A beautiful summer day may end up looking like a winter wonderland.  Clouds may turn into a dreamy backdrop.  Or portraits of basketball players will bring out something totally new and excellent.

Photographer Tom Dahlin was tasked with taking some unique shots for the Timberwolves.  He came up with the idea of using his Infrared gear.  The results are very cool looking, to say the least.  He gives explanation of the gear he used as well as how each shot was produced.  The neatest - most interesting in my opinion - is the way the tattoos stood out on the dark-skinned players.  Kevin Garnett is the main example he offers.  Very cool stuff.
