Capcom has just rolled out a new trailer for their upcoming Street Fighter IV title (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). What makes this video particularly special is that it's done away with the cell-shaded graphics from the past clips, instead opting for some old-school anime-style combat sequences.

Ryu and Akuma make their appearance in the video still trying to beat living snot out of each other (as always). Ken also makes an appearance, as does a mystery figure from old Street Fighter lore. Shen Long? Not exactly, but if you're familiar with the North America localization mix-ups from the franchise's past, you just might recognize the dude. Let's just say he's not quite as "dead" as he's supposed to be.

Anyway, it would be wrong to spoil what exactly transpires in SF4's latest video. You can access it below, conveniently left in its Japan dubs to ensure you get the most of the immersion experience.

 » Seiyuu...

It's not that surprising. Most famous anime seiyuu usually provides voices for video games as well.

here are some of the known ones:
Solid Snake(MGS) + Batou(GiTS)
Cloud Strife(FF7) + Kira Izuru(Bleach) + Kanda Yu(D.Gray-man)
Zack Fair(FF7) + Lavi(D.Gray-man)
Fujiwara Takaumi(Initial D) + Uruhara Kisuke(Bleach)

So after all these years, Gouken was just hiding and training by himself just to defeat Akuma?

That would mean he had no faith in his students to defeat Akuma in the future.

I can see that he would have endangered his students lives by still associating with them, but what can he hope to accomplish? Even though he's in shape, his years have got to have some effect on him, and unless he's found some kind of God-like technique to combat Akuma's Raging Demon, he's gonna die. Gen barely survived the technique. (Yes, I know he had leukemia and that Gouken also has much more knowledge and even training in the techniques Akuma uses.)

What interests me is how Gouken lived through the battle with AKuma. I mean, after their fight, wouldn't Gouken have been buried?
