The Wii Opera Browser might be filling your PC-void on the Wii, but did you know that you can actually control your computer from your console? It is possible, and some people have already been able to do it. nicholas761 was helpful enough to post an easy-to-follow tutorial on how to do this Wii "hack". |

Sweet.
This works with all consoles with an internet browser - and isnt a great find, but good never the less
So does that mean it would work with the psp?
Noob. Use Portable VNC jackass.
is it possible to use the wii controlers as a pc controller?
Check this:

While you can't load programs onto the Wii directly, surely you can do it via the PC, right? I mean, you CAN control your PC via the Wii Remote, right?
Everything is a static image until you refresh..
OFF TOPIC:
there is something different with the wii controller and nunhuk in the picture than the real Wii controller and nunchuk in the picture
what is it????
It's one of the older designs on the Wiimote. It's wider and the nunchuck connection is bigger. There's also a nintendo logo on the Wiimote.
Lack of speaker
Been to about all the stores and I missed it by a half hour. Is there a site to track when the shipements are coming? Help, I want a Wii!!

Is this the break needed to possibly play media files from a PC on your television through the Wii?
Any ideas?

I've been hosting files online for a while now using the Host Yourself Network. There is now a special Wii portal too. (wii.hostyourself.net)
Simply run the Java app, register an identity, share some files and return to wii.hostyourself.net on your wii and access them.
You can stream mp3s and listen to them on your wii, photo viewing mode is also cool.
Its freeware and dont worry about opening ports, cause you wont have to if your wii is on the same network.
Check it out.
