GestureTek who was previously engaged with Sony's EyeToy, was recently showing off some new ways of how you could use your Xbox 360 Camera. The people at GestureTek has created a head lock on program for the 360's camera, in this early demonstration of the said feature, you could see how the camera can lock on to a person's face and follow their movements. |

The whole time i watched that vid i expected the girl to flash the camera....it just looked like she was going too..it would have been funny if when she did that the camera automatically blurred the naughty parts..lol

I doubt you have to totally turn your head and look at the wall on your left, it probably has sensitivity options and you could just move your head a tad to the left or up and it could act as a virtual analog, turn your head a little, it moves slowly, turn it alot, it moves quickly....I wouldn't want to use it for aiming in an FPS, but in an RPG or something where you're constantly checking out the environment, that would be nice...

And what happens when someone walks in front of you or behind you while you're playing? Or your friend is sitting beside you.

if they can bring it down to analyze your eye movements, that would be awesome, you move the aiming cursor around the screen by looking.. that would be badass...
it might even be cooler than the wiimote...
nah.. eyes cant do swords... i want to swing a sword.
but the idea of aiming with your eyes with the camera would be awesome.
