In Gamers Day, Sony unveiled the trailer to a new PlayStation Network title they've developed, High Velocity Bowling (here via GameTrailers). If you were thinking "Bowling... SIXAXIS... motion-sensing" upon hearing this, yes, you just collected the spare for this frame. (Please hold all temptation of comparisons between this game... and another game. At least until later.) |

Ten bucks for a bowling game, ouch. You can play 2 rounds of real bowling for that, and I would think real bowling would be funner.
I love bowling, but ten bucks is a little much for a game based on it. I also love playing pool, but the ten bucks MS is charging for their Bankshot Billiards game is also too much.
Im not gonna be getting this game, and will be waiting to see if the Home bowling is free.

But it ain't cheaper, you still gotta account for multiple rounds and multiple players.
To me having a bowling game on a console makes more sense than a pool game, because more people have a pool table in their home, or more importantly can afford/fit one.

But the game is looking bad, I mean, you really wanna play bowling? At least it could be fun it is was a weird bowling game but it's just another lame immitation of a real bowling game... just play for real, at least you can talk and have a beer while playing. And this way, you can find a "winning way" or something.

This is better than real bowling because,
1. you pay only once - main reason
2. you can smoke a blunt while you bowl

Definitively look like a cool game, but I would put a piece of 1/2" plexiglass in front of my HDtv, so this bring the price up a little...
