Waiting for more news about Monolith Soft's Project H.A.M.M.E.R. even though reports have come in that it was cancelled? Well, you might be interested in seeing these new screenshots for the game.

The screens show off some of the game's cutscenes as well as the main character lugging around his giant hammer. If you haven't heard of this game, the concept of the game is pretty awesome.

You play a cyborg with a penchant for swinging a hammer and destroying everything in his path. Sounds good? Yup we thought so too. So far there is no news on when this game will come out, or if it will ever do so.

Hopefully, these screenshots serve as some evidence that the game will indeed be making its outing on the Nintendo Wii sometime soon.
