Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts will soon be out in cinemas, but here we have the accompanying video game, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, coming out before the movie, so fans can get sneak peeks through the game.

As serious as the plot gets in the sixth book, Half-Blood Prince will still have time for teenage antics, potions, and of course, Quidditch. Yes, there will be Quidditch gameplay and potion-brewing sessions with Horace Slughorn. Gotta stay in the Slug Club, yes? More importantly, there are wizard duels as well, where you and a friend can go head-to-head and see who would make a better DA member.

So until the movie's out, the game will have to do for now. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is available now for Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, PS2, Wii, DS, and PC.

 » Crap

I know its not easy to make a game..
But the PSP version is just i dunno...a piece of crap?
I think OOTP was better...

Quidditch i mean wtf is that piece of *****? Its more like a DS game if you ask me...and i think even if it were on a DS it could have been way better...

Seriously man wtf is with developers these days? They're coming out with *****ing crap...

I think Sony should really do something about these jokers...they're really makin my PSP look like a piece of crap..

If those developers are scared that people will just pirate the games, they should think again...I think if games are made really good, heck i bet everyone would buy them...

***** half baked games...

The books sell by the millions... and are crap.
The films sell by the millions.. and are also crap.

..I can only assume this game will sell by the millions - and be crap.

 » Lol.

I've never bought any of the games.

Because movie-based games are ALWAYS crap. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Wrong...several exceptions.

Goldeneye was one of the very, veeery few games on the N64 worth buying. The Warriors on PS2/PSP/Xbox was extremely accurate to the movie as well as a highly enjoyable 1 or 2 player brawler. More recently X-Men Origins Wolverine is a very fun third person action game in the vein of God of War. Even going back many years I've still got great fondness for the Robocop arcade game. TMNT on the GBA is a really well made 2D brawler too.

 » mostly true

maybe you are too young to remember the Terminator 2 arcade game.. that was quite good.. but that was a long time ago.

on the whole i have to agree.. tie-in games are 99% a stinking rip-off.
