It would probably take a real hater to say that the showing that Gran Turismo 5 put up in E3 2007 was underwhelming. Everyone was amazed with the intricate detail and lighting effects exhibited, and if you want to recapture those moments in still frames, these Famitsu scans are for you.

Everything from the car models to the tracks are eye-popping in quality, which shows off the mastery that developer Polyphony Digital wields over its craft. This racer is still deep in the assembly line, but once it's out, there's probably nothing on the road that can stop it.

The Gran Turismo series has always been about deep simulation features coupled with graphical superiority, excellent physics and extensive licensing. Gran Turismo 5 looks to continue that championship tradition into the next gaming generation. This bad-ass is a Sony PlayStation 3 exclusive, as its predecessors were for past Sony consoles.

 » extra detail

I hope they put some more work into some of the details that arent directly related to the car or the track. Things such as ruber smoke and tire marks have always felt a bit underwhelming. If you can actually leave tire marks on the track and the smoke has a better presence i think things would seem much more complete i.e. it wouldnt feel like something is missing.

I was thinking the *****pit view was any other inside view, but this got me sold. Keep up with the fine aspects of the experience, GT.

I'm not understanding this prologue--will it be distributed over PSN like I hope, or as a disc?
