what!!!!!????????? what the hell are they talking about game not having a ratings system???? do they just call that big round red circle with a big 18 in it just a random picture with a number!? For games in the uk it has the exact same rating system as movies and the same classification pictures so they must be on something to think games don't have classification and think that anyone can go in a store and buy something
Cheer Up, Were Just Get Imports, Yeee! Have Summa That Gordy xD Lmao
they will probably ban all the good games
and leave all the *****ty movie tie ins
that woman looks like a huge douche
shell probably say any reference to any sex/violence in games deems it "unsuitable"
I'm all for some kind of moderation of current games, and removal of ones that focus on violence in lieu of gameplay (Manhunt 2 for example). Age limits have to be enforced a little better than they are now.
Even with all that said I actually did grow up on Mortal Kombat (1-3) and Duke Nukem 3D whilst I was just 11 years old and it didn't mess me up. But there are people out there who do get messed up - from any kind of media.
There are people who are all kinds of messed up who use media.
That's how it *actually* works.
Interesting but what about movie ? Why are they focus on the video games and not the movie ? Strange.
Ninja Gaiden 2 or Prototype... honestly looking at the screen shot I can't find anything that have more gore...
I always wanted to see if I can pitch a game that you play as serial killers in cities as some sort of mmorpg. You have the AI ppl and cops and your job is to kill the most ppl without getting caught. If you manage to kill other serial killer you score a lot more. 1) to show you that being a serial killer is not easy with all the risk of witness and evidences 2) by knowing the predator you can avoid being a prey.
I guess noone will dare to do it. ;)
If they touch my favourite games, I'm gonna import all my games or even leave this bloody country. If the gov't steps in and starts banning video games for violence, the industry here will collapse and cost the country billions of £. They can take their f**king studies and stick em up their a$$.
These people are trying to make children grow up to be mindless sissys. They might as well take away books, movies and news too so these poor children stay in a dream like robotic state forever. Also they better be sure to keep them from looking up at the night sky so they don't see those blinking colorful dots up there that are representing 100,000,000 megatons of violence each.
Life is truly grand.
