Will there be multiplayer or online gaming in BioShock? There will be no multiplayer (hold on before you complain!!!!) but for a very specific reason. BioShock features a compelling storyline that revolves around the experiences of one man as he enters the decaying world of Rapture. Having a multiplayer component would have compromised the story we were trying to tell so we made the decision to keep this game as a single player experience. There will be an online component, however, where new content can be downloaded. |

I really wasn't expecting this game to have multiplayer. Just because the game is played from a first person perspective does not mean it needs some sort of online deathmatch or coop.
Look at RE4, Chronicles of Rid*****, Dues ex and a bunch of other games. It doesn't need it.

This is one of the most anticipated games of 2007!
Just because there's no multiplayer does not mean it's a flop, a lot of gamers enjoy single player games and some of the best selling games for the 360 are actually single-player games, Dead Rising for example
Just because you spend all your waking hours pwning people on GoW doesn't mean everyone else does, lot's of us like playing with ourselves ;)

Dont you see !! he dont have a 360 or GOW,he is a PS3 owner (proberly one of the regulars using a different name) This game is looking like another big hit for the 360.

Id rather play a well thought out single player game with no multiplayer than a rushed single player with a tacked on multiplayer that will be absolutely crap. This game looks awesome because i like single player adventure/FPS type games if you dont like that kind of game then stop posting ***** and move on.
