Nintendo disappointed a lot of core gamers at last year's E3 after it didn't announce any new Zelda or Mario game. This year, the company plans to make up for it. Talking to GameTrailers, Nintendo of America chief Reggie Fils-Aime said that they will do a "much better job" at E3 2009:

From Nintendo's perspective we always go into E3 with a very high bar, wanting to satisfy not only the core fans but also satisfy ourselves. We're hoping to do a much better job this year.

No titles were specified, but Fils-Aime did mention some unnamed projects from the Zelda and Mario teams. The Zelda and Mario teams? Hmm. I wonder what those could be? Maybe the new Pikmin game will also be revealed. Who knows? I suggest you just do what I do at every E3: place the bar down low.
