No fat chicks, just princesses! Hahaha - Image 1Just when you thought you've seen everything. Capture the flag..errr..Fat Princess and take her over to your side. Yes, the game's all about fighting over a monarch with an eating disorder. Craig Leigh shares a few words with IGN and he reveals that there have been a lot of additions to this overweight game since we last saw it at the E3.

"We've added a bunch of good stuff," said Leigh, "taken away things that didn't work and refined the whole experience. There are new Castle upgrades that open up advanced character classes. We've created new mountain, volcano and island environments, which change up the gameplay entirely."

As far as Trophies are concerned, ol' Cellulocks here isn't the only one you're gonna be getting at the end of the day. "We really want to support the community around Fat Princess, and so plan to deliver fresh content post-release. Nothing has been officially announced yet, but there will be more goodness in the not-too-distant future," said Leigh.

My hats off to Epic Games China for this hilarious title.

Your diet will end in Spring 2009 when the game comes out on the PlayStation Store.

 » tag mistake

Hi Glenn. you tagged this:"Listed in: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360"
but Fat Princess is just for Playstation network, there is no hint, until now, that it will come out for x-box 360, at least for now.

If you think it's coming to the XBOX, you might want to look again at who the publisher is

SCEA, so I'm pretty sure that it will stay on the PSN

 » Fresh content

You know, it starts getting to be a little on the humorous side when all these devs talk about a game they're about to release and then promise that they'll have "fresh content" right after release. (I'm not solely looking at Sony or this particular case; I think it's pretty much an across-the-board thing now.)

--I mean, is it really "fresh" content, ....or is it just slightly "lukewarm"? ;-) ...Is it content that normally would have been *included* in the base game, and just held back to 'sell later'? .....Because, if that's so: I wouldn't call it "fresh". "Fresh" to me would be a game that's finished its development cycle, is released, and then a couple of months later the devs 'start-up again' in order to make new content.

If you haven't even released the game yet, but are planning content to release shortly thereafter, it's a little less than "fresh". :-O
