Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete - Image 1Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete - Image 2

I've seen a lot of remakes, but a lot of them just look like mere ports that I could enjoy on an emulator anyway. But for Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete, the fresh new look and the graphics upgrade really does justice to the epic JRPG. Famitsu whipped out a bunch of screens for the remake, and you can check 'em out right here.

As you can see, instead of the old overhead camera, we now have an isometric angle for the dungeon crawling. The battles also get great new touchups, even Ramus is now worth looking at. Plus with all the spamming that Mia and Nash are gonna do, the new spell graphics are much, much welcome. This one's heading to the PSP, but there's nothing on dates and if this one gets a US release.

Come on Famitsu, release the game simultaneously with a US Version!! I don't understand Japanese and I really want to play this game!! Bakero!!

It would be a worthy addition to my UMD Games collection.

Famitsu is just a magazine. Its not up to them in any way. Game Arts owns the Lunar IP last time I checked, and the only US publisher that was ever interested in translating any of their titles was Working Designs, which last time I checked is no longer in business. We may NEVER see this as an English version.
