Fallout 3 arrives in October - Image 1

Well, it looks like the end of the world is coming, and it's going to be an exciting time for everyone. Not the literal end of the world, mind you, but the videogame world of Fallout 3 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC). Bethesda has announced that the game will be coming out in North America on October 28, 2008 with a European release to follow on October 31.

Remarked Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks, of the announcement,

We are very excited to let gamers get their hands on Fallout 3, the latest chapter in this beloved and highly acclaimed franchise. To meet the huge demand for this title by our fans worldwide, we are planning one of the biggest launches of any game released this year.

You folks better get into those bomb shelters and count your bottle caps, because when the world ends, the fun's just about to get started.

Thanks to Brad Miller for the tip

Just wanted to thank you personally for the tip. I myself love the Fallout series immensely, so it was a big surprise to come to work this morning and see this in the tips section of our email. :)

Thanks, man! I am a hardcore Fallout player myself and had to tell someone about the big news. I am really excited to see the series take a new direction and see what it offers. And again thanks for the reply!

They tried to put as much FPS in this game as possible. This is no longer a true RPG like it once was. Plus the environments suck (judging from the trailer). I will pass on this game. It doesn't look interesting at all. I wonder if I have to get drunk or high to see what everyone else sees in this game.

I agree 100% with you. This is NOT an RPG, just another FPS with some lame character development tactics.

Dirge of Cerberus anyone?

 » idk...

idk much about the series unfortunately, and alot of ppl were trying to hype it up, and for more than i try i can't get excited about this game. HECK The Eyepet got me more excited!
