Elecom has announced that they will be releasing HDMI connection cables, HDMI-DVI converters, converter connectors, totally 9 models in the middle of April. The specs of the models are listed below: |

Quality is much better then price when itcomes to cables like these.
Im one of those people who often used the factory RCA cables that came with the VCR players until i finally decided to buy the expensive monster cables. There was such a difference i replaced my speaker cables, bought a monster power strip that had a noise cleaner and my experience was enhanced dramatically. Cleaner sound, cleaner picture and a cleaner experience.
WHen dvd players came out Factory RCA cables were a little improved. so i tested them and they worked almost on par with monster cables. When S-Video became a standard the quality of the cable affected the quality of the picture so i slammed the 80 bucks for a s-video monster cable and totally satisfied.
I thought that since the signals were uncompress in HDMI that the quality of the cables wouldnt make soo much difference in small lengths. Here again buying the Cheap cables against the Monster cables i bought the monster is a clear win in overall sound and picture clarity.
I own a few thousand dollars worth of monster cables from the 05-06 line of speaker and video cables to RCA, S-video, component and HDMI cables. I wont go back to cheap brands. They simply arent cutting it out. If you own a HD tv and plan on buying a PS3, put the 80 bucks down for a quality HDMI cable and you wont be disappointed.
