The running gag among math nerds. Hey, it says HELL.O!!! Well, hell.o to you, too! - Image 1This is a take-it-easy Lua project of pucelano's that should find some use in a classroom setting (though bringing a PSP to a SAT exam might actually get you in trouble...). We have seen a lot of PSP calculators pass through our hands, from the bare-bones basic to the pimped-up full emulations like Zx-81's HP48 emulator (certified for classroom use, but your teacher may disagree).

Easy PSP Calculator, despite its name, is not a bare-bones Lua release. While it doesn't have the full utility of a scientific calculator, it nevertheless incorporates basic trigonometric functions, useful for algebra, basic calculus, and geometry. You know, basic high school stuff. Despite being encoded in Lua, it's been worked so that it can be opened off the MemStick, so you're not gonna need a copy of Lua Player for this homebrew calc.

So if you're stumped trying to long hand calculations for sine waves, you could try reaching for some help...

1st of all a standard calc is only 10 USD and you can punch in number way faster with finger....

I thought that the flame for 2 previous calc developer was enough to stop a release like this from happening.

Unfortunately it did.
Very useless and teacher does not allow psp ..even if it's a calc...

» cool, saves 5 bucks instead buying a new calculator

this could be useful to play games on your psp during class. if a teacher comes up to you to put your psp away, you can say "what are you talking about? this is a calculator see!
