The MMORPG genre is evolving especially with the arrival of non-hardcore games such as Elf Online. If this is the first time you've heard about this, it's actually a comedy-based title with trendy elements, not to mention its elaborate storylines.
It is being handled by the company HappyMMO Co., Ltd. and both alpha and closed beta testing phases have just been concluded. As a matter of fact, ELF Online is currently on open beta and the developer has a couple of things in store for early adopters.
Accordingly, HappyMMO decided to to held a three-day double pet and character experience event for Elf Online to thank players who have been continuously giving out suggestions and comments to improve the game.
Aside from that, here's another announcement from HappyMMO in relation to the game's levelling competition:
- The event will lasts for two weeks from 8:00 p.m. Dec 21, 2007 (the open
beta time for Elf Online) to Jan 7, 2008.
- On Jan 7, 2008, the Elf Online team
will announce the winner of the leveling competition.
- The top ten players
with the highest level character and the highest pet training level
will be rewarded.
- Character Level
- 1st Place: 10 Lucky Box, 10,000 item mall points
- 2nd Place to 4th Place: five Lucky Box, 3,000 item mall points
- 5th Place to 10th Place: three Lucky Box, 1,000 item mall
points
- Pet Training Level
- 1st Place: 10 Lucky Box, 10,000 item mall points
- 2nd Place to 4th Place: five Lucky Box, 3,000 item mall points
- 5th Place to 10th Place: three Lucky Box, 1,000 item mall
points
- We will also pick ten lucky players form 11th to 100th players:
- Lucky Prize: one Lucky Box, 500 item mall points
