eaElectronic Arts opened the treasure chest for their upcoming releases, in line with their fiscal announcements made just recently. Now let's put them in a timeline so we'd get a better view:

For the second quarter of 2007, we might spot titles such as Crysis for the PC and Army of Two for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 (we know this already). However, we're not sure if EA plans to delay the release of these titles as they have made adjustments on their SKU plan.

For the fourth quarter of 2007, The Sims II holiday edition on PS3 is likely to grace the shelves. Note that since it's a holiday release, it's also possible for this limited edition title to be available this year.

The Sims 3 will be released in both the Wii and the PS3 platforms, but we  might see this launch title by 2009 - which is waaaay far in the future. EA says that another SimCity game is under development.

And for those who needed to get a dose of really awesome news, EA said that there'll be another Lord of the Rings game. Furthermore, a next-gen version of Black is in the pipeline. No specific launch dates were mentioned, but we guess you know what to do for now. Scream hallelujah!

» Hello we are the big bad

Hi were EA we have no imagination any games that look good we dont actually come up with ourselves (LOTR, Army of Two etc). But basically you can expect the same old tat from us with a new number at the end (Fifa, Madden blah blah blah). None of these games offer anything new but we now render the athletes jock straps and shorts with an extra 4 polygons. Oh and before we forget we will have a new Harry Potter game which will be a lazy cynical cash in. But it doesn't matter because you mindless drones will buy it for it's title and will make us millions......ha ha you silly sheep. Oh Burnout 5 as well where you crash your car...good eh....not that different from the last 4 but hey! Signing off and dont forget we will
releasing 12 Need for Speed games next year the seminal title will be NFS Segway Sidewalk Challenge.
