Spore

Rumours of Spore hitting the DS and Wii are coming from multiple sources and Electronic Arts is trying to control that now, as an official statement regarding non-PC versions of the game was released today:

"Right now we’re 100% focused on finishing Spore on the PC and PC only. Though we’re investigating the possibilities of bringing the franchise to other platforms in the future, any announcements or confirmations for the Wii or any other platform would be premature.

Spore is being done for the PC exclusively right now, but this is EA and the developer is Will Wright. So you guys may expect the game on every single system known to man (except the N-Gage) by mid-2008. Not familiar with the game? Well, basically it's a sim-type game by Will Wright. You start off as a tiny one-celled organism and evolve. Then, you eventually start to create civilizations and even move on to conquer the galaxies. The game features unbelievable depth and it's sure is something to watch out for. To be on the first on Spore updates, just stay tuned here at QJ.
