Super Smash Bros.Brawl ripped? - Image 1We've just learned that a Japanese coder by the name of Nekokabu has released the first Dual Layer Wii disc ripper for the Wii. As the name implies, it's essentially a dumping utility that supposedly allows users to backup dual-layered Nintendo Wii discs.

Pictures on his blog seem to indicate that the process has worked for him using Super Smash Bros. Brawl as the test subject. He also appears to have attempted to put videos up of the procedure working, but those vids seem to have been taken down by YouTube.

In any case, we'll keep you updated on this new development, as well as any additional news related to the Dual Layer Wii disc ripper. In the meantime, keep checking QJ for updates.

Are You Capitalising Every Word?
But yes, it is out... I would recommend not using it, thus so Nintendo keep making good Wii games for us, seeing as no third party seems capable

I've been playing the DL version for 2 weeks with my WiiKey,
The problem is that when I buy the USA version it will not work on wiikey, they don't seem to be updating.

why dont nintnedo or some company just check the IP addresses of the torrents, usually there only like 2-3 torrents on the net on every site, u can check who you are downloading from, then they could track the IP address to where ever there living, go raid there house, there is usualy like one person that uploads them all, cos if seen one name on wii games a lot, i dont download them cos my wii isnt modded
personally id rather have the original disk because of the box art an the booklet
just an idea
