meet the bombers - Image 1

It's only a few days to go before Bomberman Land hits Japanese store shelves (it's slated for a March 8 release), and we certainly do have a lot of catching up to do on this game. That's why today, we bring you five new screenshots that will further immerse you into the land of of Bomberman.

Now, this version of the franchise actually retains the look of its DS version, Bomberman Land Touch, and that version is, in turn, based on the older designs of the franchise. So there sure is a lot of history right here. Look at it as paying homage to its ancestry.

Anyway, we're sure you're gonna enjoy this game, what with all the minigames and the multiplayer features it's got, with the unique controls of the Wii. For now, it's said to come out only in Japan, but here's to hoping that they ship this to Western shores as well. In the meantime, here are the screenshots, as promised.

 » Hell yes.

I love Bomberman. I've been playing the VC Bomberman, multiplayer with my brother hasn't gotten old yet. And I loved Bomberman on the N64, awesome multiplayer.

I pray this comes to the states.
