DirectX - Image 1

ATI's updated list of DirectX 11-capable games has confirmed that the PC version of DICE's upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be rocking support for the API. GSC Game World's S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is also counted among the list along with Lord of the Rings Online.

  • BattleForge: Now
  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat: Now
  • DiRT2: Dec 1st
  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Q1/10
  • Aliens vs. Predator: Q1/10
  • Lord of the Rings Online: Q1/10
  • Dungeons and Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited: 2010
  • Genghis Khan MMO: 2010
  • Unigine Engine (Heaven Demo / Benchmark): Now

Note that the "Now" for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat pertains to the game's Russian release. I believe the game's already out in Germany and Austria as well.

 » We need more!

More games need to be added to this list! More games need to support the DX11 API. Otherwise it'll be the same washout that DX10 was.

I think DX11 will be bigger the DX10 ^^
I think the game industry need some smarter thinking right now rather than more horse power for the gpu's^^
