sorry but dont you think that the drugs would make him "do it"?
second how the f*ck does mortal kombat make a person kill them with a gun? its all magic, weird ways to die, and martial arts people...
I used to live there too...they called it Klamath Balls anyways. Whatever, the guy did something wrong. And yeah, whatever.
this is just another lawyer trying to make a name for themselves. a drug deal gone bad? how did video games get the rap for this, thats a classic plot for a movie. why are movie studios not being blamed?
so a guy is involved in drug trafficking and as a result kills a guy but the only thing he did wrong was play Mortal Kombat?
LLLOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!
ya whats up with that??
lol. I'm from Klamath Falls.
o_O there is a completely logic explanation for the defense attorney to claim that video games are the direct influence to this horrible event... it's called "he doesn't have anything else to defend with."
This dude distributed and used drugs, was involved with illegal activity and apparently was morally and socially disrupted. Since the case has so much against him with these other things, of course that defense attorney is saying "violent video games was the influence to do this"... because he's desperate! I'm not saying he's correct, I'm just saying any other hired lawyer would do the same thing in their situation (getting paid is highest priority to most of them) and they have to use every resource available to try to get their client the least harsh verdict, if not proven innocence. I'm surprised he's not saying that the "internet video violence submissions on YouTube.com and other websites was a major influence". >_>
So the're tryin to say that a 20 year old guy played Mortal Combat, and because of that he went and shot a guy?? Why won't they blame the f*uckin drugs that the guy was trafficking?? Ok even if the game "Mortal Combat" influenced him to go beat kill someone he wouldn't do it with a gun cuz in Mortal Combat you kill with Martial arts s*it and magic.
What does "beat kill" mean??
