Anyone *****ing about semi-bricked psp should get down on the ground and kiss D_A's ass for letting you recover those bricks. That is something Sony never has or will ad in firmware. If you know about 3.xx oe you'd know flash0 is FULL. So don't use anything that flashes your psp. It will break stuff.a

This version bricked my psp. the md5sum checked out but the 1st time i ran a iso from my memstick it froze my psp and then crashed now when i hit power the green light comes on and then shuts off within 5 seconds... some one needs to write a failsafe so we can drop a eboot in a specific location on the memstick boot the psp and regaurdless of the xmb's condition it run the eboot. aka the restore eboot. also i cannot r trigger into the little psp bios where i could possibly run the restore. that would be nice... but not this time :(

ist it possible for your psp to brick right when you turn on a just opened package because yesterday I got a new psp I put the umd in(gta lbs)turned it on and it bricked I took the battery out and everything.

me too. All I had to do was go to settings and restore defaults. It wasn't doing it automatically upon bluescreen as it was supposed to. Restore defaults fixed it for me.

i too have had this problem. BSOD. Pressing circle does nothing (not anything else shot of hard reset. at least I didn't have to pull the battery). I know I can try restore defaults from System settings, but I hate re-inputting my wifi config. Wasn't there a way for recovery mode to save this info?

i truly trust dark alex btu ive downgraded and ungradted about 35 times and im starting to get concerned i doubt that you will need to upgrade to this to upgrade to the next update but if u do ill worry about it then. thanks d_a for thinking of everyone evin though i dont care about this youve got my respect and trust. unless its a major update im not worried so till next time
