Bye, scene. I've decided to cease OE development, and leave PSP scene. The reasons are various. One of them is the time it consumes, which I'm losing from other things. The other is related to my security. I didn't like Sony menaces to PS3 hackers. I think it is better to leave now rather than end paying the consequences. |

We still need a 3.50/3.51 OE firmware at some point though, since some future PSP titles NEED it to run (i.e. God of War, etc). I really hope he's given someone else he knows the tools and know-how to keep it going.

Guys Dark AleX did do alot for the homebrew scene but the fact is that there are more people on the scene. Dark AleX's reasons for leaving (be it action from Sony or working for them) should not matter. His time in the spotlight is over and now someone else has a chance to step up and be the guy.

You People Can Give your sympathy, But now were all stuck on the current firmware and cant upgrade to play games like god of war cuz of the stupid things like sony patching so if you downgrade you cant upgrade to 3.30 or higher.P.S. My freind said ur an assmonkey.....*****

Whithout homebrew and emu's there's just no point in owning a PSP.

Sony included ISO loaders on the Official 3.5x firmwares. if DAX make an OE firmware maker, his ISO loader will be violating the patent on the Original firmware. he may only op to hack the ISO loader on the firmware via his OE maker but that will take quite a lot of work/time, and Sony may also find a loophole to sue DAX on the said processes. dont worry folk DAX may eventually come back when Thought of a way to circumvent a checks to pin him.
