DJ Max Fever flyer - Image 1

OK, so Pentavision's DJ Max series is finally getting an official North American release under the guise of DJ Max Fever. PM Studios, the company bringing the series to the U.S., has revealed that the game will hit retail stores on November 11.

They've also sent out some "flyers" announcing that popular Korean hip hop artist Hyun Do Lee will be contributing a song to DJ Max Fever. We still don't have a full track list, but according to earlier reports, tracks from DJ Max Portable 1, Portable 2, and International will be making appearances.

If you're a fan of rhythm games like Beatmania, you should really try this series. The international release of DJ Max Portable can be played in English, so that should be a good starting point if you can't wait until DJ Max Fever hits. Watch out for it on November 11.

» Preferably DJ MAX Portable 2

Both DJ MAX Portable International and DJ MAX Portable 2 feature english. I own both and would personally recommend DJ MAX Portable 2 as it is more newbie-friendly while still featuring more advanced challenges, offers more gameplay modes and is the only one allowing ad-hoc multiplay.
