Legendary video game designer and programmer Lord British Richard Garriott recently had his compound burgled by up-to-no-good teenagers. According to reports, the suspects went into Garriott's private property and stole bottles of wine and alcohol which amounts to US$ 5,000.

What's striking about this report is that the suspects unwittingly left a digital camera behind, containing their very own photos and various images of them partying in the said property. Garriott reacted,

We were debating whether we would even report this to police until we discovered the digital camera sitting on the porch of one of the cabins broken into. We we're joking to ourselves about tomorrow morning, when they wake up with a hangover, they're going to wonder where that camera is. This is one of those Darwin-style kind of awards, where people leave the self-incriminating evidence behind at the scene.
