Aliens RPG project has been 'cancelled' - Image 1

"This is me being sad."

It wasn't hyped up enough for me to feel genuinely sorry to see it go, but it's still a pity that this project didn't pull through. The Aliens RPG that's been in development in Obsidian Entertainment is now confirmed to be canceled - or at least, as confirmed as it's probably going to get.

The confirmation comes from the online CV of an ex-designer who worked in the studio, David Kondor. The CV describes that he is attached to a now "canceled third-person action Aliens RPG." His LinkedIn profile page also says "Designer for canceled third-person action Aliens RPG."

Much as this looks pretty much confirmed, this is still tagged as a rumor until we hear of official confirmation. If you're really broken up about it though, don't worry, Sega recently announced a new Aliens vs. Predator title slated to be released in 2010.
