BioShock 2 - Image 1This interview with BioShock 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) executive producer Alyssa Finley of 2K Games should be worth the read. She spills oodles upon oodles of exciting information, including one about you having the option to shut off the Vita Chambers and.. well.. die.

This option was actually first made available last year as a DLC, especially made for the hardcore players. It was rather controversial at that time, and the team fully took into consideration fan concerns regarding the matter by: 1) giving the OFF option for the Vita Chambers, and 2) added some tuning changes that will prevent the strategy of respawning, until the Big Daddies were defeated, effective.

She did not delve into the specifics of this tuned changes, although she did mention that there will "absolutely" be multiplayer plans this time around, details of which will be coming out very soon. Stay tuned.

 » Of course!

Of course you should have the ability to turn them off. I played through the Hard and Survivor settings on PS3 without VitaChambers. I've never known what it is like using them, so I shouldn't be forced to use them in this second installment.

ummm you'd only really be "forced" to use them if you weren't as "hardcore" as you play out yourself to be :s
