Imitation is the best form of flattery as they say, but this Chinese company may be going a little too far with this Wii ripoff. Even the most trustworthy soul would be hard pressed to give this console the benefit of the doubt since they don't even bother to disguise the name: they call it the Vii.

Everything from the console's design to the Wiimote (or the Viimote?) looks almost exactly the same. Two questions pop into mind: "Is it cheaper than the Wii?" and "Can it play Wii games?" Well, even if both questions are answered with a yes we probably won't see the Vii hit the market en masse or even leave the country for that matter, considering the obvious legal issues.

We'll have to see whether or not Nintendo will take any legal action. Updates as we get them.

Absolutely brillant and stupid at the same time, I mean if they try this you can bet a lawsuit in the works but just goes to show china wants to makes games even as far as making a rip off of the wii.
