DDO festivities to occur Sunday, March 2nd, in the Marketplace - Image 1You've braved sewer rats and kobolds, as well as all manner of undead monstrosity. What better way to celebrate all that fighting than with cake, right? We suppose you could say that it's the idea behind Dungeons and Dragons Online's latest celebration to commemorate the founding of Stormreach.

The main celebration will occur on the Sunday, March 2, in the Marketplace. Before that happens however, there'll be a new patch and some freebies sent out to all the denizens of Stormreach. Specifically, all players who were a part of the game prior to February 27 will receive a celebratory in-game cake.

The announcement from Turbine Inc. and Atari also mention some surprises that may pop up prior to the party, so we suppose you folks better get ready for some added excitement. Who knows? Those kobolds you've been slaying for the past year might come back as super-powerful undead kobolds, right?
