A few days ago, Capcom announced that they will be releasing a 25th Anniversary Special DVD in the next issue of Famitsu. The DVD was previously reported to contain new game footage of the upcoming survival shooter game, Resident Evil 5.

Unfortunately for RE fans, Capcom has confirmed with Eurogamer that while the DVD will still be coming, it won't contain the new gameplay footage as previously reported. But to look at the silver lining, the DVD still has other content fans can look forward to.

The DVD will still contain an interview with the producer of Resident Evil 5 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360). We can also hope for new info on the game, if not actual footage. The next Famitsu magazine will arrive this Friday, so we'll keep you posted.
