Apple iPhone mobile handset - Image 1If you live in a country which doesn't support the settings and regional format for Apple's iPhone, things can get a little hectic, especially when you're trying to store numbers through Caller ID or SMS. However, developer Carlo Franchino (Frank8) recently created a homebrew suite of fixes to address this problem.

Entitled "CallerID Fix Collection", it essentially fixes the prefix formatting of any number received through either Caller ID or SMS. The project's release page also includes a short list of countries with the appropriate compatibilities with the application.

The new build of the app includes compatibility for firmware 2.1 and adds more countries to its list. You can download CallerID Fix Collection 1.0.2 by searching for it under the "Localization" category of Installer 4 on the iSpazio repository (http://repo.neolinus.org/ispazio).
