Call of Duty: World at War trailer being readied for Xbox Live - Image 1Well, it looks like we won't have to wait too long for any further details regarding Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War , at least with regard to its Xbox 360 port. Microsoft has announced via press wire that they will be releasing a worldwide reveal trailer for the game this June 21 to 22 (Saturday, Sunday) via Xbox Live Marketplace.

That aside, MS' announcement hints that the game may not be covering just the Pacific theater of battle, as was previously speculated:

Call of Duty: World at War redefines WWII, challenging players to survive the most harrowing and climactic battles of the Pacific and European theaters.

It remains to be seen just what part of Europe the game will be handling given that the CoD franchise (and other WWII FPS for that matter) has thoroughly covered the normal hot zones, such as Germany and Russia. Check back again in case we run into any related updates. In the mean time, you may want to check out some of the rumored box arts that could be used for World at War's 360 port.
