While official announcements are yet to be made, Criterion Games pretty much confirmed in its community forums what upcoming downloadable content for Burnout Paradise (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) is in the works. Alex Ward has revealed that new tracks will expand the open world of Burnout Paradise along with new cars, and they're all free.

To extend Paradise City, Ward said the new race locations are going to be on islands accessible via bridges. He added that the first island of Burnout Paradise that will launch soon is just a first in a series, with each island having different types of gameplay.

Plenty of new cars are scheduled to go online soon as free Burnout Paradise DLC, and you can find some of them at Criterion Games' website by clicking on the "via" link below. One of the fresh wheels in the queue is the Dust Storm, which you can see in action by watching the embed that follows.
