Blizzard to investigate potential Arena gear foul ups - Image 1

Remember a little while back when honesty took hold of one World of Warcraft Arena player? Lith was able to purchase more than the character could afford - in Arena points - due to lags tied to the hundreds crowding around Krixel Pinchwhistle just to preview the new gear.

Lately, however, Slayor of World of Warcraft Europe took to the forums with a reference to one other character, who appears to have a full set of Season 2 gear even when the weapon presses doubts that the character could have wielded it and won points to afford all five epic gear.

Speculators believe that the player could have attempted to purchase the armor prior to the Tuesday downtime, for which a previously announced bug would allow the character to get the purchased item and all the Arena points back. Blizzard is currently looking into how the character was able to accumulate more than one Arena reward in a single occasion, although there was no mention in Big Blue's part of what could have caused the foul up.
