Blizzard: World of Warcraft 2v2 queue times to be fixed in patch 2.4 - Image 1World of Warcraft players who often try the 2v2 Arena PvP System will agree that queue times for this specific format is excruciatingly long and dragging.

Some players testified that they, on the average, wait for around an hour before their actual match start. Such is the point of discussion over at the official WoW community website.

Blizzard Community Manager Drysc dropped by and said that they are aware of this problem. He added that the developers have already implemented a "cure" in patch 2.4.

Drysc mentioned that this said cure allows the servers to kick up more arena instances in a shorter amount of time even though the amount of players in queue is the same. He then further explained:

We want to avoid calling this a one time "queue cure" as we're still not entirely certain how the changes will affect queue times under full load. Especially considering the increase in activity we see with any major patch release.

I think they're guaranteed to have some effect, but if it isn't an adequate impact we'll need to make further adjustments.

While nothing is sure right now regarding this matter, it is still good to know that Blizzard is trying out several methods in an attempt to lower the queue times. Keep checking back here at QJ.NET for more updates about this.
