Blizzard Entertainment - Image 1Here's a little something to dampen your day. Not that we want to dampen your day, but it's just that we want to keep you informed.

We were lurking today in the official forums for World of Warcraft and found out that there won't be a Blizzard Entertainment at the Anaheim Convention Center to celebrate their major franchises">BlizzCon for this year, again.

BlizzCon was a Blizzard-sponsored convention that happened sometime in October of 2005. It was really memorable because that was the place where the new WoW content was released. Fans were able to get a preview of The Burning Crusade there as well. For the truly hardcore, there was a showcase of Blizzard's major franchises Warcraft, Diablo, and Starcraft.

Blizzard's Nethaera promised that they are considering to do another BlizzCon in the future. That's something worth looking forward to. But in the meantime, maybe you can get a better idea how much fun the BlizzCon was by watching the footage included in WoW BC Collector's Edition.
