Damn look at all those fake reviews in that superufo site..
"Very handy and useful and its outlook is very beautiful which fits all you need. I have not had smelly problem with which some other products were reviewed. "
Hate it when my peripherals develop a smelly problem.
Um .... why does it need two aaa batteries?????? the nunchuck is powered by the wiimote, which is powered by a rechargeable battery pack or two aa's. So what else does this periph do that requires the use of 2 aaa's????
I came across this on a site selling it a month or two ago. It has an integrated laser sight on it. If you blow up that picture, you'll see the laser's trigger button on the gun's grip. It's for those people who need more than, you know, a pinpoint cursor on the screen. Or those that think a laser on their light gun is nifty/cool. Or those looking to fark with cats. One of these things.
My largest problem with this peripheral, as well as the shotgun-like Wii Blaster I bought to play Resident Evil 4 with. Let's break this down, shall we?
1. The nunchuk slips into the handle. If it slips in anything like the Wii Blaster, then it's not locked in like the wiimote is. As such, every time you squeeze the Z-button on the nunchuk, it shifts inside the housing, and you have to actually grip it to hold it in the frame, which isn't very comfortable.
2. Again, with the nunchuk. The trigger on these light guns is the Z button on the nunchuk. And here's the worst part of all this, on these guns that use the wiimote for a trigger, and post that it's great for RE4: Z IS NOT THE GUN TRIGGER. It's the run button, one you'll be holding on an almost constant basis. It's A. You have to hold the B-trigger on the wiimote to pull your gun and aim, and A on top to fire. They did this for good reason, it's to give you leverage, it's easier to squeeze the trigger THEN the A button than vice versa. But RE4 never gave you any option to remap the buttons. Which means the trigger of your gun is not the trigger of your gun. Even the light gun attachment that has its own integrated trigger and allows the nunchuk to connect to the bottom of the handle has a similar problem, the trigger on the gun reroutes to the B-trigger on the wiimote, which, again, does NOT fire your gun.
In other words, these light guns are useless if the games themselves don't include a button-remapping option. And this REALLY bums me out, I wanted that one with the nunchuk passthru, but it's mostly useless to me.
but u jus gotta flick the wiimote to shoot, so pressing the trigger to run instead of shooting isnt too much of a hassle,u kno...
Like I said, constantly squeezing the Z button pushes the nunchuk back out of the gun's handle on the Blaster, as it's not secured in it by anything more than some minor tension. But even beyond that, it's set up like a gun, right? You're supposed to pull the trigger to fire the gun, not squeeze the barrel.
