A leaked picture of the latest BlackBerry in development has surfaced on the Internet. The picture comes from the forums of the BlackBerry website and was leaked by Cooper. The picture was received with some skepticism.
Above and to the left is the concept picture of the BlackBerry 9000 when its development was announced last October. Back then a rumor that the device will sport a touchscreen interface was prevalent.
The picture on the right is the leaked picture, which doesn't seem to be supporting the rumored touchscreen. Cooper himself insisted in the forums that the BlackBerry line will not get a touchscreen interface for a long time yet.
Apparently the device was being sold in eBay. A picture of it is still on their website although the listing for the device is now unavailable. The last bid figure posted on the forums said it amounted to over US$ 450.
So is it a fake? Is it a mock up? We can only speculate at this point.
