BioWare still mum about PS3 involvement

Hmmm... - Image 1Right after BioWare's CEO Ray Muzyka was caught openly claiming that they've got something in the works for the PS3, the Canadian game-makers have suddenly gotten all wishy-washy about the issue. They haven't exactly confirmed that they are making games for the PS3, but the problem is, neither have they denied it.

As CVG has found out when they tried to get a statement from the Canadian game company, all that BioWare's PR coordinator Erik Einsiedel has got to say about it right now, is that they just "haven't made any official announcements about any plans for the PS3". Well, considering the fact that BioWare has produced some of the past decade's most memorable games, we're not surprised that Muzyka's off-hand comment has turned a lot of ears in their direction.

After all, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect and SW: KotOR on the PS3 does sound rather nice.

over at 360fanboy4life.gov, it legitimately states that Bioware has no need to develop for an expensive, under sold, under powered platform. No need to thank me, I sent the same article to 1up and gamespot and they'll be blowing it out of proportions any minute now.

I think they will wait until they see the sales of MASS EFFECT before they decide, if it sells well ( and it looks like it is going to be a big hit ) and after seeing sales for games like Gears I think they will go it with the 360 and maybe PC later.

Will all the rumors and fanboy flame battles that go on here at QJ. I think it was in very pour taste to start PS3 Rumors, or is the author just a fanboy? Sure they said there making a game for ps3, but to meantion KOTOR, or Mass effect; you are doing nothing more than fanning flames. I expect authors to have a bit more integrity than this.
