Appstore leaked images - Image 1 Appstore leaked images - Image 2

Ever since the iPhone's software development kit (SDK) was released, a lot of people have been anxiously waiting for the Appstore (a service which provides downloads straight to the iPhone) to go live. Even though Apple has been doing a lot to keep the information about this upcoming service on the down low, it seems that some images have accidentally been leaked.

Drunkenbass from monsterandfriends.com was reportedly fiddling with his iPhone when suddenly the Appstore launched, revealing the UI. After browsing through it, he was said to have been able to find that the Genres and Top 50 categories already contained a few apps.

If the images prove to be true, then it looks like Apple is already conducting in-house testing of the application. Could this mean that the Appstore will be launching soon?
