The good news is THQ's FY09 appears to be essentially intact. All of the key potential multi-million unit sellers for FY09 appear to be on schedule. We feel that management is positioning the company for long term
success as it focuses on successful titles. The
amortization charges, title cancellations, and studio closings, while
expected to affect the company in the near term, are in-line with
management's strategy of more rigorous product review procedures,
personnel and product changes, and its review of existing titles to
maintain long term product quality. |

How can THQ ever think to be successful if they stop making the games that would have sold alot of copies? I mean they want to make money don't they? Well the games that they put on permanent Hiatus are the ones that people wanted and were waiting for, thy cancel them and now they have nothing to offer, Great Strategy there guys!

i didn't like juiced or stuntman enough to buy them...
sometimes games just don't sell well enough to justify the investment made by the company,
and frontlines was only canceled for the ps3.
i for one am glad they decided to allocate resources to other games to make them better.

They're just streamlining things to focus on priorities. Yes, they've canceled some games, but they're concentrating on making (hopefully) better ones than the titles they've canceled.
