I can understand saying that IBM wins the console war, as they make the CPUs for all three, and the processor is a key component.
This, however, seems much more generic, as there are multiple companies manufacturing the said components. You could just as easily say that plastic manufacturers are the winners because they all have plastic casing, or screw makers because they all are held together by screws. If you MUST give credit to a random factor in production, at least credit the poor sweatshop workers that put the damn things together, as they clearly deserve more credit than anyone else.
Yeah... this whole format war was like "Who can do a better job at selling this?" when you look at it that way.
