alu wall You finally got the nerve to get a flat panel TV. You take your beautiful new toy out of the box. Then it hits you. Where the hell are you going to put it? They made it look so easy in the TV commercials, right? Just hang it on any wall like that cheap Mona Lisa knockoff that fools no one. If real life was anything remotely like in the TV ads, we'd all be solving life's problems every 30 seconds or so.

A good place to install your pancake TV is the Alu Media Faux Wall. This very chic entertainment rack is practically a work of art. Designed by Luciano Bertoncini for Design Within, it is made of smooth-edged cast aluminum with powder-coat finish.

Alu Wall ships with all the mounting hardware for hanging flat panel televisions up to 47" and 185 lbs. Fully assembled, its dimensions are H 54" W x 53.5" x D 24". The large lower glass shelf can hold your additional AV/multi-media equipment (up to 50 lb). A cord outlet at the back provides neat way to manage all the  cables. The Alu Media Wall retails for $1,398.
