The Hulk and Zangief. You don't see many folks using these guys in the arcades, but on the uncommon occasion that you do, the players are usually quite good at them. We've got two burly beasts in today's vids for Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and we're about to see how to make up for the lack of speed with some real brute force.
Well, Zangief didn't really do much out there. That really doesn't help his rep of merely being a useless token wrestler. I've tried using him, and in a game like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 where attacks keep coming like fireworks on the 4th of July, poor Zangief won't get much air time. The PSN and XBL release for this game is expected to come late this month. More on Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Why is this a big deal?
I remember playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 like a LONG time ago and from the looks of the video it's not really a remake just a Port? So why does anyone care?

The only two main reasons are that is because the game will be in 720/1080 HD and there's online. I've never liked or even really played MvC or MvC2, doesn't seem like fighting to me. More like super heroes duking it out with flashy power moves all over the screen.

its quite simple... though it is just like the Dreamcast/xbox/ps2 ports, this looks just like a port that supports HD
the hype comes from, all the people in the past who loved it, also since the Dreamcast was a dying/dead system when it came out a lot of people didnt buy it *i got it at gamestop for 3 usd used*
later on it came out for xbox/ps2 but they lost the rights so they couldnt make more, making the used one of those were selling for 80 usd used at gamestop...
because of this, and its one of the most FUN fighters *it doesnt need to be good to be fun* its got a lot of hype being its only 15 usd, its not really hard to see the hype

how Zangiefs priority worked out in M vs C, but in SF II, Alpha and especially in SF4 he is one of the best fighters in the game.
One of his Jab pile drivers can out prioritize almost any move (Guile's moves screw him over lot's tho). Not to mention just his plain jab is amazing...
If you know how to use him Zangief is amazing....I've taken out plenty of Akuma's, Sagat's and Ken/Ryu's with him...grabbing people out of fireballs and golden uppercuts is the sheeeeit....
Chances are Zangief could interupt any of those combo's with a piledriver (when he is on the ground anyways :P )
