There's word going around that a sleek successor of the famed Motorola RAZR is coming up. Dubbed as the "LAZR", this gadget will feature an ultra-thin chromed clam shell bod, 512 megabyte internal memory with no expansion slot, Linux OS, a text-to-speech system for email and SMSes, and a two-inch external display. |

i'm one of the mods over at motomodders.net and the real name of this phone is the Motorola MOTORAZR 2 with the model of V9 for the GSM and V9m for the CDMA. LAZR was the prototype and joke name given for it by the first person who posted information on the phone.
it has 512 MB internal, it DOES have an expansion slot (not sure how much it supports yet rumored 2 GB), txt to speech. 2 inch external (rumored touch buttons for mp3), 2.2 inch 320x240 internal screen, and a 3.2 MP camera.
We do know that it will be GSM and CDMA but no word on if it's Tri or Quad and if it's EDGE or 3G.
Thats all we've found out at the moment through the people we have that work with Motorola.
