Gamers will finally get the chance to rock out with five of the biggest names in the rock and roll industry as Activision introduces the next iteration in the Guitar Hero series with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

The new game will feature some of the greatest hits from the titular band while showcasing the same brand of hardcore rhythm gameplay that the series is best known for. In a video trailer we've provided below, you can take a sneak peek at the virtual incarnation of the legendary rock band (a personal hat's off to the developers for a very apt depiction of lead vocalist Steven Tyler).

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith marks the fifth spinoff title in the series and is slated to be released this June. The game will be available for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii.
