Generally, as most WoW players know, Blizzard issues free realm (server) transfers occasionally to allow players to switch out of high-populated areas and move into lower ones. Normally you would have to pay to transfer your character, but these transfers are free and are a form of population control.

You can transfer your character out of your realm if it is one on the list and move it to the designated realm. This offers a free solution to those who can't stand the over-crowding of their own server. Here's a list of the available transfers that will last until the limit is reached or until December 7th -
