These two products, Draft N and Pre-N Wi-Fi are FCC legal, yet they manage to block or jam your neighbors' Wi-Fi. That's not such a bad thing, unless you're the unfortunate neighbor of the one using that.
These two might not interoperate well with each other but you can surely use them as they're rumored to be both compatible with 802.11n. These were tested on the 802.11g Access Points, but the results showed that although they work together, they can't interoperate at higher speeds.
Broadcom's Draft N will work great with former rival Atheros' own Draft N product (they seem to be teaming up against Airgo), and will probably be fully compatible with the 802.11n when the 802.11n standard changes.
Airgo's product, on the other hand, can effectively shut down any legacy 802.11b/g product around, which is very disturbing as these FCC approved products are aimed at the home market. Even businesses using 802.11b/g are having problems. These products have already been sold in stores.
The sad thing about these N products is that they don't interoperate with each other and it seems that none of them are guaranteed to be compatible with the 802.11n in the future.
